After the overwhelming success of the Quiksilver Waterman Challenge in Hawaii at the Waikiki Paddle Festival last month, Jay Race organizers elected to add the event to the 11th Annual Surftech jay Race! Male and Female competitors will first swim a 500 meter course, then hit the water on their 12′ stock prone paddleboard for a 1,000 meter paddle and finally paddle their 12’6″ SUP through a 1,500 meter course and run the short distance to the finish line.

The Quiksilver Waterman Challenge will give athletes the opportunity to test their skills in the three disciplines to determine who is truly the best over-all waterman at the 2012 Surftech Jay Race!
